We keep things simple. Here's how our engagements work.

Our Model

All work is performed under a Master Services Agreement (MSA). There are no long-term contracts, retainers, or ongoing service level agreements. You engage us when you need us: a single afternoon, a specific project, or a defined scope of work. We are not a managed service provider. We don't install agents on your systems, require proprietary software, or lock you into a recurring relationship.

How We Price Our Work

We offer three engagement models depending on what fits your project best. All pricing is discussed and agreed upon before any work begins. No surprise invoices.

Fixed Price — For projects with a well-defined scope and clear deliverables, we agree on a total price upfront. You know exactly what you'll pay before we start. This works well for audits, policy development, compliance packages, office IT design, and similar scoped engagements.

Ad Hoc — Need help with something specific, right now? We assess what's needed, give you a quote, and get to work. No ongoing commitment required. This is the right model for one-time troubleshooting, a quick setup, or a discrete task that doesn't need a broader project structure.

Time & Materials with a Cap — For work that's harder to scope precisely upfront, we track time and materials but set a maximum ceiling before we begin. You get the flexibility of T&M billing with the cost certainty of knowing you'll never exceed the agreed cap. If we finish under the cap, you pay for what was actually used.

Billing

Invoices are issued upon project completion for fixed-price work, or weekly/bi-weekly for T&M engagements. We accept ACH, check, or credit card.

How We Work

We work remotely via email, video call, and secure remote tools. Remote engagements are available nationwide. On-site work is available throughout the US; travel beyond the Denver/Boulder area is billed separately and agreed upon in advance.

Confidentiality

All client information is treated as strictly confidential. We do not share, disclose, or reference client work without explicit written permission.

Master Services Agreement

A copy of our MSA is available upon request. It covers scope, billing, confidentiality, and general terms of engagement in plain, readable language.
